How can i find out about vintage events

There are wonderful vintage events taking place across the UK throughout the year, from major occasions such as Twinwood Festival and Goodwood Revival to smaller events right on your doorstep. Explore our UK Vintage Events Guide to discover what’s coming up, then visit our vintage style guides for inspiration on what to wear

How to measure yourself

Simply follow our tips below to take your body measurements. Use a flexible tape measure, keeping it comfortably snug but not tight.

  • Bust/Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your bust or chest, passing the tape underneath your arms and keeping it level across your back.
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, usually 7–9 inches below your natural waistline.
  • Shoulders: Measure across your back from the top of one shoulder to the other.
  • Arm: Measure from the outer edge of your shoulder down to your wrist, keeping your arm slightly bent.
how does your sizing work

Our garments are sized according to modern UK sizing, while retaining the authentic shape and detailing of the original vintage designs that inspire them. As sizing can vary slightly between styles, we recommend checking the individual size chart on each product page and comparing it with your body measurements before ordering.

If you are between sizes or need further advice, please contact our Customer Service team—we’re always happy to help.

how should i care for my vintage-style clothing

Some of our garments use natural fabrics and authentic construction details that require a little more care than modern synthetic clothing. Always check the care instructions for your particular garment and visit our [Clothing Care Guide] for detailed advice on washing, drying, ironing and storage.
