Up To Date With Revival In July 2018
What's New To Revival This July
This month we have had so much new stock I don't know where to begin. We have been expanding it so that we can offer a good choice for all the great vintage events up and down the country. Each year we hear of new ones to add to our calender. We love to know which events are your favourite and why. Nothing pleases us more than finding you something great to wear so that you can feel confident you will look authentic.
I will start with the guys for a change this time.
New For The Guys
We finally received the new Revival brand shirts we ordered in Spring. We have introduced two new fabrics for our club shirts and have a sand stripe spearpoint collar shirt. This not only coordinates with brown trousers and suits it looks really smart against dark blues.
As well as the usual demob style suits we have added a number of interesting vintage jackets. You can see a small selection of them above. Tweeds and plaids especially good for Autumn. Our new shade of highest quality fish tail trousers in nutmeg coordinate really well with most of these. As well as the clothing I have added ties a plenty, several new styles of braces and more original vintage dress trousers with more lined up to follow.
New For The Girls
I have had a good selection of dresses to work with both original vintage and reproduction. As usual the true vintage are predominantly small sizes so we cater for all by including a range of vintage inspired dresses.
There are a couple of originals on the BLOG cover image, I'm in the middle of putting the rest on this week use the true vintage filter to differentiate when you are in the womens vintage dresses section.
Here we have a selection of some of our new retro styles.
We hope we won't be needing them any time soon but there's nothing like being prepared with our delightful new umbrellas. As with most things we have the retro ones and we have the lovely oldies. Think it's obvious which way round they are. You will find them in the handbags section, you can clump them together by selecting the umbrella filter on the left as you view the section. I love to keep all the originals in my hall stand until they are gradually shipped off to their new homes. I get a lot of pleasure from our beautiful things even if it's just for a short while.
I have also taken a beautiful tapestry bag home to hang in my bedroom. More of an Autumn Winter bag but I adore them. Not going to say which it is but it IS one of these. Will be sad to see it go from my 'vintage Foster home' once it sells.
There has been so much more arriving this month but I don't want to over load you and I need to continue listing them all. It's a short week again as I will be spending Friday packing the car and travelling to Whitby for our next event. The great British Seaside Vintage Fair hosted by The House of Rose & Brown.
For us last month was quiet for events which is a good job with all the new stock we have to process. However August more than makes up we have back to back Hebden Bridge, Yanks weekend, Grassington and Bridlington. Going to be exhausting but would be great to see some of you if you are going to any of them. Let's hope the sun continues to shine for us all!
