Taking place every September, the festival celebrates the golden years of the circuit, with cars and motorcycles dating from 1948 to 1966 taking centre stage.
Of course, the fashion is just as much a part of the Goodwood Revival experience. With Goodwood Revival just around the corner, we challenged members of the Revival team to create their own Goodwood-worthy outfits. From classic tailoring to feminine vintage silhouettes, here's what Helene, Mark, Helen, Caroline and Katie would choose for a day at the Revival.
Helene
As the founder of Revival Vintage, Helene has spent years collecting, wearing and championing vintage fashion, so it feels only fitting that her Goodwood Revival look features a true vintage piece from the 1950s. She chose this beautiful green dress from our showroom that brings plenty of original midcentury character to her look.
She continued the rich green colour palette with matching catseye sunglasses and a green rose hair flower, while a black true vintage handbag adds a classic contrast. The result is a wonderfully cohesive look that celebrates the charm of original 1950s fashion.
Mark
Mark, Revival's COO, has opted for a classic three-piece suit for his Goodwood Revival look this year. He chose our Clubman suit in Foundry Grey, adding the matching waistcoat to complete the ensemble. The houndstooth check gives the suit a distinctly traditional feel, while the tailored three-piece silhouette makes it a smart choice for a day spent around the circuit.
A crisp white spearpoint collar shirt provides a clean contrast, complemented by a grey fedora and houndstooth check tweed bow tie. He finished the outfit with a silver fob watch, adding a final nod to the classic details that make this era of menswear so distinctive.
Helen
Helen has opted for a playful 1950s inspired look featuring our Keepsake Dress in Rouge. The flattering silhouette and deep pink shade make it a striking choice for race day, while the delicate pale blue stitching adds an unexpected contrast.
To bring out this subtle detail, Helen has coordinated her accessories in the same soft blue, choosing a floral brooch and matching beret to complement the stitching throughout the dress. She has finished the outfit with a floral woven clutch bag, adding texture and another charming vintage detail. The result is a beautifully coordinated race day ensemble!
Caroline
Caroline puts a sixties spin on our Weekender Suit in Curaçao for Goodwood Revival. She’s worn the gingham check skirt shorter to create a fun mini silhouette. The pastel palette of blue, white and pink keeps the overall look light and fresh, while nodding to the colourful fashions of the era.
To complement the skirt suit, Caroline has added our Yesteryear frame bag in Tickled Pink and a pink hair flower for a coordinated pop of colour. The soft pastel shades, shorter skirt and carefully chosen accessories come together to create a sweet midcentury look with a fresh 1960s feel.
Katie
Katie's gone all out with florals for her Goodwood look, choosing our Garden Party Dress in Meadow Florals as the centrepiece of her outfit. The soft floral pattern gives the dress a fresh, summery feel, while its flattering 1940s inspired silhouette makes it a lovely choice for a day at the Goodwood circuit.
