As has become tradition for us at Revival, we've put together a selection of immaculately styled outfits for both men and women to make it easier than ever to dress the part in a stylish 1940s or 50s look.
Here we've compiled a few of our looks for you to browse. If you're attending with a partner, these might also give you some ideas about which outfits pair well together.
First up, we have a pair of comfortable and casual outfits with a classic 1950s vibe that will be easy to wear throughout the day. Martyn wears our What's Cookin' outfit and Eleanor wears Melody Maker. Both the Hawaiian shirt and Melody dress featured here are made of light cotton, which will be nice and breezy if the weather is hot, while the cardigans can provide a bit of warmth into the evening.
This pair of outfits has a sophisticated and yet summery 1940s feel. Cameron wears our Casablanca outfit and Molly wears Weekend Matinee. The Gadabout suit, complete with waistcoat, and the more formal crepe Matinee dress both create an effortless impression. These ensembles are sure to wow at whatever event you attend!
Another more casual choice: Martyn wears Green Flag and Eleanor wears Working Holiday in this image. Finally, we have a pair of real showstoppers - Cameron in VIP Lounge, and Molly in Day At The Races. If you want to dress to impress, these outfits capture the feeling of 1940s Hollywood glamour. The charcoal Deliverance suit has an iconic double-breasted demob look, while the Promenade coat's beautiful pleating adds drama to the CC41 Verity suit worn underneath. You can go all out with our reproduction 40s silk swing tie and some leather brogues, or a matching midcentury style frame bag and a sweet acrylic brooch to accessorise your look.
