Brown Stripe 1940s Spearpoint Shirt with Tab Collar and French Cuff
A vintage spear collar shirt inspired by those worn in the thirties and forties, featuring an alternating sand and brown hairline stripe pattern.
Ideal for those who wish to emulate the 1930s or 40s wartime look.
This shirt has several carefully replicated period-accurate details such as shoulder and back yokes, side godets at the bottom hem, and a smart button tab to pull the collar together. It also features French double-barrel cuffs which are supplied with a small knot cufflink which can, of course, be exchanged for cufflinks of your own choice.
The arms are slightly longer than a modern shirt, which was true to the period, as often only one sleeve length was available -- hence why expanding sleeve garters were often worn to keep sleeves up. The fit is standard: not fitted with darts but also not baggy in shape.
