40s Look Bloomsbury Red Polka Satin Dress
A fun and quirky forties look dress from Bloomsbury, modelled from an original 1940s pattern. The slipper satin fabric on this particular dress is silky to the touch and has a gorgeous, subtle sheen to it.
V-shaped neckline. Panels of shirring at the shoulders create a detailed yoke, and gorgeous bishop sleeves puff outwards at the cuff and create an incredible shape that adds to the authenticity of this eye-catching frock.
Functional covered buttons line the bodice, and the dress is fastened with a side zip. Tie-back waist ties are also attached to cinch the waist, and can be tied at the back or wrapped round to the front.
The dress's bodice has soft ruched gathers at the bust to create a flattering, curvy silhouette, with a full skirt.
