1940s Vintage Granville Herringbone Wool Bag Trousers - Night Blue
The Granville trousers are replicas of an original pair of 1930s trousers. A more conservative version of the Oxford bag style popular in the 1920s & 30s.
High-waisted with a V notch at the back.Period accurate high waist men's bag trousers in a high-quality soft dark blue flecked herringbone cloth.
The button fly fastening plus buttons for attaching trouser braces all mirror the looks of the thirties and forties era.
They have double-pleated fronts and straight vertical side seam pockets.
There is an additional working pocket at the back hip with a neat button-down flap.
Designed to coordinate with the matching Granville waistcoat.
Turn up hem cuffs with a 56 cm / 22" hem circumference.

The Granville trousers are a baggy style designed to fit high on the waist. We recommend ordering your usual modern trouser size as the Granvilles already have an allowance for comfort ease.
The size table in the listing images shows the inside leg measurements. However, please remember that our trousers have a longer rise than most modern trousers, which can add up to two inches to the inseam depending on where you wear them on your waist.
