Although as I write it is throwing it down outside we have had some glorious days and I’m sure there will be more to come.
At the moment I feel I have the best collection of vintage dresses I have ever owned. With more and more vintage events on the calendar and the likes of Goodwood Revival & Pickering later on in the year I thought it was a good time to share them with you.
For the purposes of this particular BLOG I am concentrating on a range of dream dresses fit for a summer garden party. The fifties did this look so well with the beautiful cotton floral prints we are familiar with.

Every summer, The Queen hosts at least three Garden parties at Buckingham Palace, as well as one at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. Over 30,000 people attend. They have evolved into a way of rewarding and recognising public service. They are attended by people from all walks of life. So you never know when an invite might drop through the letter box.
