As we prepared for Revival Day this year, celebrating 23 years of Revival Vintage, we found ourselves looking back. Not just to where we started, but how much has changed even in the last few short years.

When we marked our 20th anniversary, it felt like a major milestone. Three years on, that moment already feels like a different chapter. Retail has evolved, and so have we. What hasn’t changed is our love of vintage style and the community that has grown around Revival over more than two decades.

From Then To Now

And move forward we did! Since our 20th anniversary, Revival Vintage has experienced a period of real growth and transformation.

One of the biggest changes has been our team. We’ve welcomed new colleagues across the business and in that time doubled our staff size. Each new face has brought fresh ideas, skills, and energy, helping us evolve while staying true to our roots. Revival has always been about people, and never more so than now.

We’ve also taken a big step forward with our new showroom, moving into a beautiful period building that feels perfectly at home with our aesthetic. We renovated the space ourselves, which took a lot of time and energy, but it’s now a space that reflects who we are today: grounded in heritage, but thoughtfully contemporary. The showroom has allowed us to better showcase our collections, host customers and create a more immersive Revival experience.

Growing With Our Customers

Over the past three years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to welcome many new customers, while also continuing to serve those who have supported us for years, even decades! That balance means everything to us.

Vintage is about longevity, and so are relationships. Seeing familiar names return season after season, alongside customers discovering Revival for the first time, is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or joined us last month, you’re part of the Revival story!

Expanding Our Own Lines

Another exciting development has been the continued expansion of our own Revival Vintage lines. These collections allow us to apply everything we’ve learned over 23 years, from fit and fabric to functionality and style, into garments designed for modern life, with vintage at their core.

As part of this, we’ve also made a conscious move toward more UK-made stock, working closely with trusted manufacturers to produce pieces we’re proud of. This shift reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and supporting local industry wherever possible.

Vintage Reimagined

You may have noticed that our offering has subtly evolved. While true vintage will always be part of our DNA, we’ve increasingly explored vintage-inspired clothing, garments that capture the spirit, silhouettes and details of the past, while offering the reliability and wearability of modern production across a range of sizes.

This isn’t about moving away from vintage, but about reimagining it for today. It allows us to meet the needs of a broader audience, ensure quality and continue telling the stories we love, just in new ways!

On The Road

Vintage events have always been a huge part of Revival Vintage, our busiest time of the year is over spring and summer, where we cater for customers looking for the perfect outfits for nostalgia events. One of our highlights in recent years was sponsoring Mister Vintage at Twinwood Festival. Being part of such a vibrant, style driven event, surrounded by music and dance, felt like a natural fit for us.

We’re delighted to say that you’ll be seeing us at Twinwood again this year, and we can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones! If you’ve ever wondered what Revival looks like away from the shop floor, this is where it truly comes to life.

In The Spotlight

Over the years, Revival Vintage has been featured in a variety of films, television and theatre, something we never take for granted. These moments of recognition are a reminder that what we do resonates beyond our own walls, and is a true testament to our dedication to produce authentic reproduction vintage clothing.

Goodbyes

We also marked a more poignant moment recently, saying a very sad farewell to Helene’s father, Rufus. A great supporter of Revival from the very beginning, he remains part of our story, not least as the namesake of our much loved Rufus knitted waistcoat, which continues to honour his memory and influence.

23 Years & Counting

As we celebrate 23 years, we’re proud of how far Revival Vintage has come, and excited about where it’s going next. From a growing team and evolving collections to new spaces, new customers and new ideas, the last three years have shown us that company growth doesn’t mean losing your identity, it means refining it.

    Wonderful clothes and more recently had the pleasure of speaking to a young lady there who was humourous and absolutely brilliant dealing with my problem which was not to do with the clothes i purchased i hasten to add.she sorted my problem and my purchase was on its way.so big thank you for help and marvelous variety of clothes heres to many more years to you all
