True Vintage 1940s Olive Worsted Wool Suit
This olive green forties skirt suit is made from a high-quality worsted wool and designed by Aireton. This true vintage jacket is shaped beautifully to give a period silhouette, with feminine pockets to the front, and lined in a matching crepe fabric with striped piping detail.
The jacket has a three-button fastening and there is a small hole to the right lapel of the suit jacket (please see photograph), but it's in a spot that makes it easily hidden with a brooch, as shown. The pictured brooch is included with this purchase. There is also a slight scuff to one shoulder.
The skirt is fastened with a metal zip and clasp in a straight pencil style, with small pleats to the front to create shape. The skirt is unlined.
