Pink Linen 1940s True Vintage Summer Skirt Suit
A truly incredible find - this beautiful vintage skirt suit from the 1940s is realised in a sublime lightweight pastel pink linen.
The jacket has an elegantly sewn statement wing collar, which features retro topstitching, layering, and small buttons on each wing tip. This is repeated in the faux pockets at the waist.
Darts in the jacket create an iconic 40s nipped-in waist. Fastened with five buttons.
The skirt has a pink metal zip fastening and a pleat in the back for ease of movement.
Unlined inside for ideal summertime wear.
While the skirt waist measurement appears small, please consider that the skirt is a very high-waisted cut.
The skirt does have a few very tiny marks on the back near the seam, but we mention these out of utmost transparency and are certain they would not be noticeable when worn. Overall this suit is in gorgeous condition.
