Socialite Replica 1940s Vintage Pink Floral Tribute Dress.

A true reflection of forties fashion this floral vintage style frock is taken from an original 11011 superior rationed double elevens dress.

The front bodice has a square neckline with light gathering towards the shoulders.

There is a horizontal broad tuck flap that has a double loop tie which can be knotted as you like.

There is an inverted V waist seam that extends to the sides.  Soft gathers into the bust cups.

The straight sleeves hug the upper arm.   Small shoulder pads help give the slightly masculine wartime silhouette.

There is a concealed side zip to fasten.

At the back there is an additional opening at the neckline with silver metal hooks and hand-worked loops exactly like our original.

There is a waist flattering horizontal seam.

The skirt itself has plenty of swing.

Like all our socialite range only very small numbers are produced to keep them exclusive.  Floral tribute comes in two other floral prints.

Twill weave polyester fabric.  

 The bodice is a snug fit across the back and shoulders.  We would recommend going up a size if you have a large bust or broad shoulders.
