1940s Vintage Norfolk Wool Jacket in Navy Blue
Our Norfolk jacket is a unique and charming example of vintage style, inspired by original 30s or 40s era jackets. This timeless staple of classic country sportswear has been around for decades and remained a favourite into the midcentury era. It's sure to stand out, whether you wear it on your daily commute or to a vintage nostalgia festival!
Key authentic features include:
- Three-button fastening, with four buttons at each cuff.
- Two large front patch pockets with a centre inverted pleat.
- A full belt with a textured buckle. Two fabric panels run down the front of the jacket to create the belt loops.
- Neat collar with rounded notch lapels. Buttonhole decor.
- A single back vent and deep inverted pleat on the back allow for ease of movement.
- Fully lined in complementary sateen fabric. Four internal pockets.
Fabric content is 50% wool and 50% polyester, which makes for a soft, medium-weight fabric with a durable forties look.
