1940s Vintage Cream Beaded Frame Occasion Bag & Purse
This stunning vintage original 1940s occasion bag is covered in intricate beadwork. To the front are entwined flowers with a smaller replica pattern on the back.
The frame is gold and also covered in the same small beads with cream and light grey pearls adorning the top. The clasp is a highly unusual diamond shape again adorned with beads. There is a small gold chain handle. The interior is in mint condition and lined in cream satin with two small interior side pockets with original mirror, and a matching cream satin frame coin purse. There is an original Saks of Fifth Avenue price tag still in an internal pocket!
Would be an incredible "something old" for a special day or a beautiful accessory for an occasion outfit at any time of the year. A real talking piece and a stunning addition to a vintage collection.
21 cm wide x 17 cm high x 3.5 depth.
