Vintage 1950s Mauve & Cream Floral Dress

Unique fifties dress made of a light waffle-textured cotton or similar.

Wide notch lapel collar with a cute bow at the lowest point of the V-neck. Lovely panelling detail creates a tuck between the bodice and skirt of the dress.

A matching fabric half-belt at the back to shape the dress at the waist. The half belt has been adapted from a full belt and attached to the dress.

Metal side zip.

There is a tiny graze to the fabric in the centre of the front waist, where the dress may possibly have had a row of buttons down the centre previously. There are also a few small repairs to the fabric at the back of the bodice, done in white thread which is largely lost in the floral pattern.
