Vintage 1940s Blue Crepe Dress with Velvet Trim

From the forties era, this azure blue day dress is a head-turning piece that could be dressed up or down for any occasion.

The back of the dress is particularly beautiful, with long gathered pleats. The front also has pleats to the skirt and pockets at the waist.

Made of blue crepe, with black velvet trims at the collar and sleeve cuffs. The dress has a row of matching covered buttons lining its bodice, and a matching fabric buckle belt.

In good vintage condition, with some very light areas of wear. The inside of the back neck is slightly discoloured.

A lovely 1940s piece for your vintage collection.
