Navy Blue Pintuck 1950s Vintage Dress
Gorgeous true vintage late fifties or early sixties piece, made of lightweight wool fabric and featuring a row of oversized buttons as well as a long pintuck panel on the front that adds stylish retro charm. The dress is a rich navy blue shade, always a versatile shade in the wardrobe of a 50s fashion lover.
The dress has a square neckline and a sleeveless cut. It's fastened at the back with a metal zip.
The pintucks on the front are an entirely separate panel on the skirt, attached to the dress at the waist, so the dress still has great range of movement.
A striking original piece to create a classic fifties look.
There is no tag to indicate the exact fabric content, though it feels and appears like a light woven wool fabric.
