Blue & White Stripe 1950s Vintage Day Dress
This sweet fifties vintage day dress is made of a lightweight striped fabric with a nautical feel.
This dress's standout feature is of course the particularly wide wing collar, which really defines the iconic vintage look of this piece.
The pleated skirt creates beautiful movement in the fabric when worn. The bodice is fastened with three cream buttons. Short sleeves with turn up cuffs.
The dress is fastened with the buttoned bodice and with additional press studs on left hand side. As is sometimes the case with these older pieces, there is a panel of fabric sewn between the press studs that restricts how wide this gap can open when putting on the dress.
There is one dark mark to the skirt near the hem (see front image). Apart from this, the dress is in great condition.
