Button-through bodice with small collar. There is ridged tuck detail to the bodice and pocket flaps.
Two pleats to the front skirt plus one at the back. Iconic forties dress perfect for colder months.
Has shoulder pads. Pat Petite label, gowns for the dainty figure - best fit size 6 to 8. With a make do and mend badge you know there will be a few flaws here goes:
The hem only has a small turn up which could do to be turned up a small amount again to neaten. Looks fine from the outside but will fray over time if not attended to now.
There is a small mend to one side of the front which is pretty minor & could be covered with a brooch, a rough patch under one arm which is not visible when worn but needs a black darn or patch to improve. Finally, there is a small hole above the side fastening.
