1940s Vintage Green Check Wool Overcoat
This true vintage 30s or 40s overcoat is a truly rare find. Made of sturdy green wool with a subtle blue windowpane check and with a truly classic cut. The wide-notch lapels and double-breasted fastening are its standout features.
The coat has a matching fabric belt, two large flap pockets on the front and two more inside. The coat is half-lined inside.
The quality construction and durable and thick wool fabric make this a workhorse piece in a man's vintage wardrobe for colder or inclement weather.
A small group of moth holes on the left side of the coat below the pocket. There are also a few more sporadic moth holes throughout the coat, but these aren't immediately noticeable and don't detract from the striking look of this incredible original piece.
